Samantha KauffmanSamantha Kauffman is married to her wonderful husband Wayne. They have 6 children, all homeschooled, and in April will have 14 grandchildren! Their homeschooling journey has included involvement with local support groups, homeschooling sports on local and state level, coordinating events, leadership positions and more. Homeschooling is an amazing experience! But it also requires us to be on our knees for guidance 🙂. Our youngest graduated last spring from homeschool high school.

Kim KarnemaatKim Karnemaat is Kent’s wife, married for 35 years, they have 10 children and 9 grandchildren. Kim is continuing to pursue the art of being a farmer’s wife, as she seeks to assist Kent in operating a large vegetable farm in Fremont. This is the 25th year of homeschooling, it looks like her retirement is about 10 years away, when their youngest will
graduate. She enjoys investing in Community Bible Study. Most recently she became a health coach. Living generously out of the investment God has made in her, is a life goal. She loves Jesus and remains confident that He who began a good work in her, will complete it. He’s offered plenty of surprises along the way and continues to challenge and grow her through any number of ordinary and extraordinary moments. Her current favorite verse is “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians 3:20 |
Chris WierengaHi I’m Chris Wierenga If we haven’t met yet I hope we will get that opportunity. Here is a little bio about me. I love the Lord, love to sing and worship and God has called me into prayer ministry. I grew up in New Era and right after graduating high school I married my husband Dan (now 41 years ago). We homeschooled our 3 children when the idea was hush hush in Michigan. We are blessed that our family now carries on the homeschool tradition. I am Nana to 12! The children delight and energize my soul and give me all kinds of reasons to bake cookies and buy toys.
My husband Dan and I have done “house flipping” for several years in our empty nesting season. We are just now completing our final build and retirement home. In this time I have learned to simplify, sort and organize STUFF. I’m excited to share some of the tips with you that I have learned on the journey. |
